Banana, Kiwi, and Chard Smoothie

Blend bananas, kiwi, orange juice, and fruity Greek yogurt for a delicious smoothie — and then add the secret weapon to make it bigger flat-belly powerhouse: rainbow chard. Rainbow chard is a leafy vegetable that gets its name from its multicolored stalk. It’s packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are extremely beneficial to your health and for fighting belly fat.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Yield: 2 servings

1-1/2 frozen bananas, peeled

1 frozen kiwi, peeled and sliced

1-1/2 cups chopped rainbow chard, stalk removed

1/2 cup 100 percent orange juice

6 ounces nonfat pear or pineapple Greek yogurt

  1. In a blender, combine all the ingredients.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour into two chilled glasses, and serve each with a straw.
