How to Clip Kindle Text to Evernote

By David E. Y. Sarna

With help from Evernote and ClippingsConverter, you can clip interesting words as you read a book or newspaper on your Kindle and review the words later. ClippingsConverter (it’s free!) enables you to publish your clippings to Evernote after you’ve authorized it to access your Evernote account. You can review all your clippings, search for words or terms you clipped, and transfer the clippings to your computer.

Specific instructions for creating clippings on your Kindle depend on the generation of the device.

  • All devices are supported via the bookmarklet using the Chrome browser.

  • For importing via My Clippings.txt, all Kindle versions supporting a clippings file are included.

  • The Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD do not support clipping.

For details, see the FAQs page of ClippingsConverter.
