How to Grant Others Login Access to Salesforce.com Service Cloud
In Salesforce, you can grant login access to system administrators and Salesforce support personnel so they can log in as you and help troubleshoot things with a better idea of your perspective. You can choose the duration of this access.
This is a useful tool when you have issues that either party can’t remediate, or at the very least when they could use an inside peek at your view of Salesforce to better understand your problem.
To grant login access, follow these steps:
Click Grant Account Login Access in the Personal section of the My Settings page’s sidebar.
The Grant Login Access page appears.The Grant Login Access page.
Choose an expiration date from the Access Duration drop‐down that pertains to the party you want to grant access.
That party will only be able to log in as you for the duration of the time you specify.
Click Save when you’re done.
The Grant Account Login Access visually confirms that the changes were successfully saved.
As an administrator, to log in as a user who has given you this access, choose Setup→Administer–?Manage Users→Users, and choose Active Users from the list view drop‐down. Then click the Login link to the left of the user’s name. You now see Salesforce from that user’s perspective. As soon as you log out, it will return you to the Users page as the administrator again.
