How to Set Links from Your YouTube Channel to Your Other Sites
After your main channel art is created and uploaded to your satisfaction, start customizing some of the other settings on your YouTube channel. First, take a look at the links that can appear over your banner image. You can choose to have as many appear as you want, assuming that you have established profiles on these other social media sites, or that you have your own custom-built site.
Linking from your YouTube videos to these profiles can help drive traffic to your other profiles. This can also be a great SEO device to help your site rank higher in search engine results. Most search engines value inbound links — that is, sites that link to yours — and a link from a site as popular as YouTube to your website can really give you a boost.
Log in to your Google account and navigate to YouTube.
Hover your pointer over your channel art and click the Edit button that appears in the upper-right corner of your channel art image (it looks like a little pencil).
The edit drop-down panel appears.
Click Edit Links.
The Customised Links window opens.
Fill in the fields with the URLs of your website or your social media profiles.
You can choose to display up to four social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, on your channel art image.
Click Done when you have the links set the way you like.
The links will appear as little icons on your channel art.
