How to Manage Your MySpace Applications

After you apply MySpace applications to your MySpace profile, you may need to manage them from time to time. You can manage your MySpace applications by changing or completely removing those applications:

  1. Log in to your MySpace account.

    Your MySpace profile page opens.

  2. Click Manage Apps in the Applications section in the left column of your home page.

A page appears, showing you what applications you’ve installed. Each application has About, Settings, and Remove links, depending on what you want to do with it. These options change depending on each application, but the basics look the same.

  3. If you want information about an application, such as who created it and what it does, click the About link for that application.

    The individual app page appears.

  4. To adjust settings for an application, click its Settings link.

    A dialog box appears.

  5. If you want to get rid of an application, click the Remove link.

A dialog box appears, and you can click Remove to confirm.

  6. Select the Share Basic Date radio button below Friend Application Privacy if you want your information to be public.

If you want to select Don’t Share Any Data, you must remove all your applications first.

  7. Click the Save Changes button when you finish.

    A confirmation message appears.
