The notion of accounts is a powerful one especially when using the iPad for work. An account lets you sync data across multiple devices, usually through a server or cloud service. The iPad has built-in support for personal information management accounts that can sync data such as email, calendar entries, and notes. But each service supports a different set of the apps that come with the iPad. There are also a few other apps and services listed that are commonly used by businesses.
