How to Download a Video on the PSPgo
The PSPgo isn’t just a gaming device; Sony designed it to be a one-stop portable media center. You can download videos on the PSPgo in the form of movies and television programs using the PlayStation Store. The PlayStation Store contains previews for hundreds of videos that you can either buy or rent to watch on your PSPgo.
In order to download videos for the PSPgo, you need to have a registered account on the PlayStation Network and be in a wireless hotspot.
Start up your new PSPgo, select the PlayStation Network icon, and press the X button.
The PlayStation Network icon is at the far right end of the XMB.
If you don’t have a PlayStation Network account, scroll down to the Sign Up for PlayStation Network icon and press the X button. Enter the sign up information and press the X button.
If you already have a registered account, skip to the next step.
Select the PlayStation Store icon from the PlayStation Network list and log in to your registered account.
The PlayStation Store home page appears.
Click the Video icon in the top left of the home page.
The types of video content available are listed on the navigation bar on the left of the screen.
If you have a PlayStation Network card, click the Redeem Codes icon on the top of the PlayStation Store page to add funds to your wallet. Once you redeem the card, the funds won’t expire.
Browse through the different categories. Select a video.
As you scroll through the videos you’ll see a brief description on the bottom left of the screen. When you select a video, you’ll see a detailed description of the video, including purchase information.
Select the Preview option.
A streaming preview of the video will appear on a small window.
Choose either the rental or purchase option. Then choose Buy Now.
The Purchase Confirmation screen will appear. Notice the amount of money available in your wallet is listed near the top of the screen.
If you’re not finished shopping, choose Add to Cart instead and continue browsing through the available videos and games. When you’re finished, click the Cart icon on the top right and then click Proceed to Checkout.
If necessary, click Add Funds to add money to your wallet.
If you already have enough money in your wallet or have a credit card on file, skip to Step 11.
Enter your credit card information.
Your credit card information will be stored for future purchases from the PlayStation Store until you remove it.
Click Continue to go back to the Purchase Confirmation screen and click Confirm Purchase.
Your download will begin immediately.
If you choose the rental option, the video will be available for 14 days. However, once you begin watching the video, you’ll have only 24 hours to complete it. After that, the video will be locked.
