Gluten-Free Maple Frosting - dummies

This quick and easy gluten-free maple frosting recipe is a wholesome variation on the classic seven-minute cooked frosting. Using prepared meringue powder means that you don’t have to worry about raw eggs. This recipe is gluten-free, casein-free, and refined sugar-free.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

1/2 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons gluten-free meringue powder

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl.

  2. Beat with a mixer for 7 to 8 minutes, or until the frosting is fluffy and has the texture of marshmallow crème.

    Spread immediately on cake or cupcakes.
