Adjust Colors in the Photos on Your iWeb Site in iLife ’11

When building a Web site with iWeb in iLife, you can regain some of the detail lost in a photo you’ve added to your page by using the Adjust tool and then adjusting the Brightness, Contrast, and Saturation sliders. These sliders show the effects of changes immediately. Follow these steps:

  1. Select a photo on a page and click the Adjust button on the toolbar.

  2. Try clicking the Enhance button to see whether the automatic adjustment works best.

  3. To make further adjustments, drag the sliders left or right.

    You can bring out some details in photos taken in poor lighting by adjusting the Brightness and Contrast sliders.

  4. If you don’t like all the changes you made, you can click the Reset Image button at the bottom of the Adjust Image window to reset the sliders to their original settings.

  5. when you’re finished tweaking images, click the circled x in the upper-left corner.
