Notes is a great app that comes preinstalled on your iPad. It has several different options for helping you manage all of the things you need to do on a busy schedule. You can take down groceries, make a to-do list or keep track of anything that comes to mind.

You can even apply text styles to your note. Text styles — including Title, Heading, Body, Bulleted List, Dashed List, and Numbered List — are available on the new shortcut toolbar above the onscreen keyboard. This is how.

  1. With a note open, tap and hold some text until the shortcut toolbar is displayed.
  2. Choose Select to select text or Select All to select all of it.
  3. Tap the Text Style tool above the keyboard (labeled Aa) to display a list of styles.
