How to Access and Clear Your iPhone’s Web Browsing History
You may want to revisit a Web site that you failed to bookmark on your iPhone, and Safari on the iPhone provides a Web page history to help you do just that. Safari records the pages you visit and keeps the logs on hand for several days:
In Safari, tap the Bookmarks icon.
Tap the day you think you hung out at the site.
When you find the listing, tap it.
You’re about to make your triumphant return.
To clear your history so that nobody else can trace your steps — and just what is it you’re hiding? — tap Clear at the bottom of the History list. Alternatively, on the Home screen, tap Settings→Safari→Clear History. In both instances, you have a chance to back out without wiping the slate clean. Just tap Cancel to leave your History in the books.
