Exploring Apple Music on Your iPhone - dummies

By Nancy C. Muir

The Music app on your iPhone offers several useful features, including Apple Music radio stations, the ability to play music you own and create playlists, and the ability to follow individual artists.

Apple Music is a subscription service that takes you further and opens up a bigger world of music, including more options on iTunes Radio. If you use your iPhone to listen to music, Apple Music might just be worth a look. As of this writing Apple is offering a free, three-month trial of this service. After that, for $9.99 ($14.99 for a family of 6 or less) a month you get:

  • Access to over 30 million songs in the Apple Music Library.

  • Personal recommendations based on your listening preferences.

  • Unlimited ‘skips’ on radio stations.

  • Use of Connect to view artist feeds.

  • The ability to save music so you can listen to it offline.
