You can create albums on your iPhone to make finding and viewing photos easier. You can place photos in an album from Camera Roll as well as from Photo Stream or from Collections, which include the photos you sync from your computer. You can sync albums from your computer to your iPhone, but albums you create on your iPhone don't sync to your computer.
The original photos remain where you copy them from. Albums lets you put related photos together for easier viewing. To create a photo album, follow these steps:
Tap the Photos icon on the Home screen to open Photos.
Tap Albums at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the Add button that appears in the upper left corner.
The New Album dialog opens.
Type in a name for your new Album.
Tap Save.
The Add Photos screen opens.
Tap Photos or Albums in the browse bar to find the photos you want to place in the new album.
In Photos, tap a Collection to see thumbnail images of the Moments it contains. Tap Select next to a Moment to choose all the photos it contains or tap individual thumbnails to select them.
In Albums, tap Camera Roll or another album to see thumbnails of the photos in that album, and then tap the thumbnails of the images you want to include in the album.
Tap all the photos you want to include in the new album from various sources, and then tap Done.
Your new album appears in the Album list.
(Optional.) To add more photos to the album, tap the album in the Album list to open the thumbnail view. Then tap the Select button in the upper right corner. Tap the Add button at the bottom and repeat Steps 6 and 7.
(Optional.) To Delete photos from an album, tap the album in the Album list, and then tap Select in the upper right corner. Tap the photos you want to remove from the album and then tap the Delete button (the trash can).
(Optional.) To delete an album, tap Albums at the bottom of the Photos screen. Tap the Edit button, and then tap the red and white minus sign to the left of the album name. Tap Delete, and then tap Done.
(Optional.) To change the order of albums on the Album list, tap the Edit button, and then touch and drag the Rearrange button to the right of the album name to move it to the position you want in the list, and then tap Done.
