Looking for a new dessert to make for your next holiday or dinner party? This recipe for apple bites is sure to be a hit during the fall and winter seasons.

1 large red apple

Half a stick of butter

Pinch of cinnamon

Pinch of brown sugar

1 can crescent dough

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cut the apple into 8 equal sized slices.

  3. Melt a stick of butter for 30 seconds.

  4. Roll out a crescent roll so it's flat on a non-stick cookie sheet.

  5. Spread some butter onto the roll and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of brown sugar over the butter.

  6. Place the apple on the large end of the dough. Roll the dough up around it so it's in the shape of a crescent moon.

  7. Spread some butter on top of it and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon.

  8. Continue for the next 7 apple slices and crescent rolls.

  9. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

  10. Best served warm
