Using the Internet to Save Money on Air Travel

When you take a vacation, you probably want to save as much money as possible on your travel expenses. You’ve already heard of Expedia, Travelocity, and Priceline, thanks to clever marketing and the efforts of a former Starfleet captain. But did you know that KAYAK compares the prices from all of those services instantly, showing you the cheapest air tickets from multiple sources at one time?

Microsoft’s new search engine Bing also features a service that looks at several airlines and finds the best possible prices. Just click the Travel link on the front page, and you’re ready to go. You may have to make a connecting flight or two, but the savings might be worth the hassle.

And finally, you can check every possible airline’s Web site and see what you can get, but these services should cover everything fairly well.
