Viewing Performance Metrics in Facebook Power Editor - dummies

Viewing Performance Metrics in Facebook Power Editor

By Andrea Vahl, John Haydon, Jan Zimmerman

If you’re running multiple Facebook ad campaigns (or if you’re working for an agency that manages campaigns for multiple clients), you’ll probably find it easier to view advertising performance in the Facebook Power Editor, instead of going to the Ads Manager.

  1. Launch Power Editor, and choose either Ads or Campaign View in the upper left corner.

  2. In the List View, scroll to the right to see all the columns that display performance metrics.

You will see the metrics that display in the Ads Manager.

  3. To customize the metrics view, select the drop-down caret for Stats: Lifetime in the top right.

Select one of the given choices for timeframe, or use Custom to set your own date range.

  4. To change the specific metrics in the display, click List Settings in the top right corner.

  5. In the pop-up that appears, check all the boxes for the metrics you want to view, and click the Save button. That’s it!

Performance results for all your ads – whether developed through the Ads Create tool or Power Editor – will always appear in the Ad Manager reports as well. That’s one of the reasons you must click the Upload Changes button every time you create or modify an ad or campaign.
