How to Remove Commands from the Word 2007 Quick Access Toolbar

You can remove a command from the Word 2007 Quick Access toolbar as easily as you add it. There are two ways to do this. The easiest way is to right-click its button. Then, from the pop-up menu, choose Remove from Quick Access Toolbar.


The other way allows mass removal of commands. Simply choose the More Commands item from the Quick Access toolbar drop-down menu. This displays the Word Options dialog box. In the Customization area, choose a command from the right, and then click the Remove button. Repeat for each command you want to remove.


Keep in mind that you shouldn’t remove the Undo or Redo commands from the toolbar, unless you’ve really committed the Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y keyboard shortcuts to memory.
