Android Tablets: How to Use the Google Play Store Wishlist

The Google Play Store is chock-full of wonderful apps, some of which may pique your curiosity, but perhaps not to the point where the urge to click that Install or Buy button overwhelms you. For those apps, it’s recommended that you add them to your Play Store wishlist. Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Open the Play Store app, and start browsing for new apps for your Android tablet.

  2. Display an app’s screen, the one that details information about the app.

It can be a free app or a paid app — doesn’t matter.

  3. Touch the Wishlist icon atop the screen.

Here’s what the wishlist icon looks like:

When an item is flagged for a wishlist, the icon turns solid.

Review apps that you’ve placed on the wishlist by choosing the My Wishlist command from the navigation drawer. You see all the apps you’ve placed on the wishlist. Apps stay on your wishlist until you install them or manually remove them from the list.

To remove an app from the wishlist, visit the app’s description list. (You can choose the app from your wishlist.) Touch the Wishlist icon again to remove it.
