Strategically planning each shot increases the potential for an amazing movie, while the alternative leads to ineffective capture, poor framing, damage to your GoPro, and bumps and bruises for you.
When shooting your next GoPro movie, consider the following:
- Work with a script: It doesn't have to be a traditional screenplay, just one that provides enough structure to anticipate each shot, or multiple camera setup.
- Calculate your shots: Think of the effective ways to effectively capture the subject. Or do the opposite. Figure what will not work, and don't do it.
- Budget the necessary time: The bigger the adventure, the more time you will need to plan and gather the proper mounts.
