In earlier versions of Elements, you used Yahoo! Maps to place photos on a map. In Photoshop Elements 10, maps weren’t available. In Photoshop Elements 11, mapping photos on both Windows and Macintosh are supported with Google Maps.

Here’s how to place photos on a map in Photoshop Elements 11:

  1. Click the photos in the Organizer that you want to place on a Google Map (see the following figure).

  2. Click the Add Places button at the bottom of the Organizer window.

    The Add Places wizard opens.

  3. Search for a location.

Type the name of the location you want to use for mapping the photos in the Search Map text box.

  4. Assign a location.

Click Assign Location in the Add Places wizard to assign the selected photos to your chosen location.

  5. Click Done.
