Use Your Galaxy Tab to Tell the App Developer What You Think

By Dan Gookin

Having problems with an app on your Galaxy Tablet? Or maybe you have a suggestion for improvement. Perhaps you just want to say, “Hi.” All that’s possible on your Galaxy Tab, thanks to a developer feedback feature in the Play Store app. Here’s how it works:

  1. Open the Play Store app.

  2. Tap the Side Menu icon.

You might have to tap the left-pointing arrow in the upper-left corner of the screen a few times before you get to the Side Menu icon.

  3. Choose My Apps from the Navigation Drawer.

You see a list with two tabs, Installed and All.

  4. Tap the Installed tab, if necessary.

  5. Select the developer’s app from the list.

    Tap that app’s card.

  6. Scroll to the bottom of the app’s description screen.

You find several options under the Developer heading.

  7. Tap the Send Email item and compose an electronic missive to the developer.

Also available is an option to visit the developer’s website. If you’re just after some support, you might find it there. There’s no guarantee that the developer will respond to — or even read — your email. Still, it’s a nice option to have available.
