Taking Good Photos with Your Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK Tablet

By Corey Sandler

Getting good pictures with your Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK is possible, even though the device doesn’t have a flash. Change the lighting and hold your tablet steady so you don’t get blurry photographs.

  • Use the sun to your advantage. Early morning and late-afternoon sun creates intense shadows. Don’t shoot directly into the sun. Ask people to move so that the light is better.

  • Turn on some lamps and get near some windows. But make sure to keep the light at your back. If you’re indoors, sunlight coming through the window should face your subject. Turn on the lights and move lamps — especially toward faces.

  • Steady does it. Don’t hold your tablet at arm’s length, far away from your body. Bring the tablet as close as possible and bring your elbows in tight to your body. Sit down or lean against a wall — anything you can to make yourself steady.

  • Film’s free. Take tons of pictures and get rid of the ones that didn’t work. Always use the highest resolution available on your tablet. When you edit, reduce the size of your image instead of enlarging it.
