Making Separate or Restricted Profiles on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK

Creating different user profiles on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK lets you customize what movies and eBooks you see in your apps. You can assign libraries to specific users; making separate profiles weeds out your kid’s movies from your queue.

Make sure each user profile has a proper passcode or pattern.

Here’s how to create a new profile or user:

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to display the notification panel.

  2. Tap the Settings (gear) icon.

  3. Tap the General tab at the top of the screen.

  4. From the left panel, scroll up to and tap Users.

  5. Tap the Add User (silhouette with +) icon.

  6. Choose to create a user.
