icon: A small picture that represents an object or program.

image backup: A form of backup that makes a copy of all the information on a drive, including programs, data, and custom settings.

insertion pointer: The blinking icon that appears on your computer screen at the location where characters you type appear; also called a cursor.

Internet Service Provider (ISP): A company that provides access to the Internet.

IP address: An identifier for a computer or device on a TCP/IP network.
