How to Use Maps Recents on Your iPhone
Your iPhone's Maps has a feature called Maps Recents. Maps automatically keeps track of every location you’ve searched for in its Recents list. To see this list, tap the bookmarks icon in any search field, and then tap the Recents button at the bottom of the screen. To see a map of a recent item, tap the item’s name.
To clear the Recents list, tap the Clear button in the upper-left corner of the screen, and then tap the Clear All Recents button.
When you’re finished using the Recents list, tap the Done button in the upper-right corner of the screen to return to the map.
