How to Create Albums in iPhoto on Your iPhone

With its high-quality lens and photo editing tools, your iPhone is both camera and electronic photo viewer rolled into one, but sometimes you want, or need, to see your photos in print. Creating an album in iPhoto on your iPhone is a fast way to share photos with someone who doesn’t have an iPhone, and they make great gifts to remember an event or vacation that you spent with other people.

If you bought a new iPhone after October 2013, you can download iPhoto for free from the App Store. If you updated an older iPhone with iOS 7, you can still purchase iPhoto from the App Store for $9.99.

Follow these steps to create, and print, an album using iPhoto on your iPhone:

  1. Tap iPhoto on the Home screen.

    The iPhoto app opens.

  2. Tap Projects in the browse bar at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap the add button (the + sign) that appears at the bottom left of the screen.

The choices shown in the following figure appear.
