How to Create a PC Network Workgroup

Step 7 of 7

Restart Windows.

To view all computers belonging to the workgroup, open the Network window.

    Holy Macaroni, that was a lot of steps for such a simple task. In OpenSolaris it's just a couple of commands and no reboot. http://wiki.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Getting_Started_With_the_Solaris_CIFS_Service

    Excellent and very straightforward - BUT -you do not say how to REMove a computer from a network nor how delete the network altogether. Neither does Vista HELP. I wouls love to know

    I agree.....I am looking for a way to completely remove a network i created...i have tried so many ways that now i have 3 unwanted networks or workgroups that i dont need...some help would be great
