immediate bend: A bending effect that is caused by playing a note and then immediately bending it up.
impulsive decay: A type of note decay in which the tone produced begins to fade as soon as the next note is played.
input jack; jack: The socket used for connecting the guitar cord to the amplifier.
intervals: The gap between musical notes, which are measured in half steps and whole steps.
intonation: The accuracy of the pitches produced by fretting.
