eighth notes: A musical notation (a solid oval head with a stem and a flag or beam) indication a note that is half as long as a quarter note.

electronic tuner: A battery-powered device used to tune instruments.

end pin: The metal post where the back end of the strap connects. On acoustic-electric guitars, the pin often doubles as the output jack.
