Gluten-Free Dental Products

You’re really not supposed to ingest your toothpaste, mouthwash, or other dental products — but you’re undoubtedly going to get a swallow or two from time to time, and if it contains gluten, that can cause a problem. So far, no toothpaste or mouthwash has been found to contain gluten, but remember to read labels just in case.

Most products used in the dental office such as polish, fluoride, and other dental agents are gluten-free. But call your dentist in advance and ask him or her to check for you.
