For Seniors: Take Pictures with iPad 2's Cameras
You can take photos with the cameras on your iPad 2, and view them using its gorgeous screen. Pictures shot with the iPad can be displayed one by one, grouped in an album, or in a slideshow that displays one photo after the other automatically. You can also e-mail a photo to a friend or print it.
Tap the Camera app icon on the Home screen.
The Camera app opens.
If the Camera/Video slider setting at the bottom right corner of the screen is shifted to the right, slide it to the left to choose the iPad's still camera rather than video.
Tap the icon in the top right corner to switch between the front camera and rear camera.
The view through the camera lens appears onscreen.
Move the camera around until you find a pleasing image and then tap the Capture button at the bottom center of the screen.
The image is captured and stored in the Photos app automatically.
Tap on the screen in a particular area of an image before taking your photo to have the camera adjust focus on that area using the AutoFocus feature.
To view the last photo taken, tap the thumbnail of it in the bottom left corner of the screen.
The Photos app opens and displays the photo.
Tap the Menu button.
A menu appears. You can use it to e-mail the photo, assign it to a contact, use it as iPad wallpaper, print it, or copy it.
To delete the image, tap the Delete button.
The image is deleted.
Tap the Done or Home button.
If you tap Done, the Photos app is closed and you're returned to the Camera app. If you tap Home, you're returned to the Home screen.
