newsgroup: An online discussion forum where people with similar interests send messages back and forth about a particular topic.

newsreader: A special program, or client, through which you can access newsgroups.

noise: Graininess in an image, caused by too little light, a too high ISO setting, or a defect in the electrical signal generated during the image-capture process.
