It's ok to shoot in low light
An even shallower depth of field was used here to capture trying on masks in an evening market in Venice. Doing so provided emphasis on the subject in a busy setting, as if it was just a fleeting glance. A little blurriness in the image gives it even more of that quick, glancing feel.
