Buildings are often best photographed with a normal lens, in the 40 – 60mm range, to ensure the least distortion. Sometimes, however, such as when you stand very close to a structure, you need to use a wide-angle lens to get what you want. Look for interesting angles that can give a dramatic look and feel to your shot, such as this image of a London office building not too far from the London Bridge, which was shot with a 24mm wide-angle lens.
