If you've spent any time at all on Etsy, you've no doubt run across a bazillion items and shops that you positively adore. Fortunately, Etsy enables you to keep track of all these gorgeous goodies by favoriting them. When you favorite an item or shop, Etsy adds it to the Your Favorites page.

Why favorite an item or shop? Lots of reasons. For example:

  • You may favorite an item that you're dying to buy but that'll have to wait until your next payday.
  • You could favorite your favorite supplier's shop so that the next time you need to stock up, you'll be able to find it more easily.
  • You may favorite an item or shop simply to let another Etsy seller know that you appreciate her work.
Favoriting an item is simple. First, make sure you're signed in to your Etsy account. Then click the Favorite button on the right side of the item's listing page. Etsy adds the item to the Your Favorites page.

As an aside, you can also click the Tweet, Pin It, Tumblr, or Like button in the item listing to share the item on Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, or Facebook.

Favoriting an Etsy shop is just as easy: Simply click the Favorite Shop button at the top of the shop's main page or beside the shop icon in the upper-left area of any shop listing.
