The Kindle eBook Reader for the Nexus 7

The good folks at Amazon recognize that after buying yourself a Nexus 7, you'll probably never have use for their fancy eBook reader, the Kindle. Those fools who dare take a Kindle on a transcontinental flight can seethe with jealousy as they sit across the aisle from you, knowing how much better your Nexus 7 is than the Kindle gizmo.

You can pick up a copy of the Kindle app free at the Google Play Store: Search for Kindle. Install the app.

The first time you start the Kindle app, you may be asked to register or sign in to your Amazon account. Do so. By signing in, you can instantly coordinate your Kindle eBook library with any previous purchases you've made.

After you choose a book in the Kindle app, it opens on the touchscreen. The first time you open a book, you see the first page. Otherwise, you see the page you were last reading. At that point, you can start reading and enjoying many of the fancy features offered by the Kindle eBook reading app.
