How to View Web Page History on Your iPhone

The History feature of your iPhone keeps track of Web pages you have visited recently. To return to a recent Web page, especially if you didn’t bookmark it, tap the Bookmarks icon, tap History, and then tap the day you think you hung out at the site. When you find it, tap the listing. You are about to make your triumphant return.

To clear your history so that nobody else can trace your steps — and just what is it you are hiding? — tap Clear at the bottom of the History list. Alternately, tap Settings on the Home page, tap Safari, and then tap Clear History. In both instances, you’ll have a chance to back out without wiping the slate clean.
