Evernote Shortcuts for Windows PCs

The following are the basic Evernote shortcut keys to speed up your organization. (The usual Windows shortcuts, such as Ctrl + C to copy or Ctrl + V to paste, also work in Evernote.)

Create a new note with Evernote Ctrl+N
Create a new note (from anywhere) Ctrl+Alt+N
Create a new notebook Ctrl+Shift+N
Create a new tag Ctrl+Shift+T
Assign a new tag Ctrl+Alt+T
Run a find on the open note Ctrl+F
Clear the previous search Ctrl+Shift+A
Begin a new search F6
Create a new search that can be saved Ctrl+Shift+S
Manually sync with the Evernote database F9
Clip a selected range of text from other programs Win+A
Remove all of the formatting from a note Ctrl+Space
Add a check box to the note on the line with the cursor Ctrl+Shift+C
Open the encryption menu for highlighted text Ctrl+Shift+X
