How to Analyze Your Social Media Engagement with Klout

By Andrea Updyke

Your Klout profile page highlights some of your most influential Moments from your social media accounts. You can display all of the highlighted Moments on your page at once or show only those from a specific network such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and of course, Klout. Doing so affects only your current view of your Moments. Your followers will see all recent public Moments when they view your profile.

The Moments shown here are your top Moments from the most recent 90-day period, including public and private Moments. Private Moments show up only for you or people who are connected with you on Facebook. They are not visible to people who you are not “friends” with on your social networks unless you have the post marked as public within that network.

The posts with the most engagement are at the top of the list. You may view all of your Moments at once or from a specific social network. To sort Moments by social network, click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Your Moments section of your profile page. Choose the desired network from the drop-down menu to view only highlights from that network (such as Facebook).

A drop-down menu appears, and you may choose from the following options:

  • View All Recent Moments: These Moments include public and private posts from your connected networks with the most engagement within the past 90 days.

  • View Recent Public Moments: These posts have the highest engagement from posts you made public on your social networks.

  • View Recent Twitter Moments: This option shows only posts via Twitter.

  • View Recent Facebook Moments: These posts are only from your Facebook activity.

  • View Recent Google+ Moments: This option shows highlighted Moments from your Google+ stream.

  • View Recent Klout Moments: A list populates with the most recent K+ you’ve received from other influencers.

If you would like to view the original post, you may do so by clicking on the time stamp directly under the status update.

Clicking on any of the avatars with a Klout Score shown in your Klout Moments takes you to the Klout profile page for that influencer.
