4 Places to View Exposure Settings on Your Digital SLR Camera
The exposure settings often appear prominently at the bottom of the viewfinder. The shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed all appear in the viewfinder.
The exposure settings also appear in the various information displays. In this case, the shooting information display is along the top. The shooting information display shows the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed.
Don’t forget to look at the LCD panel, if you have one. If your camera has a top LCD panel, you can check the exposure settings there.
When you’re using Live View, exposure data often appears at the bottom of the monitor and looks similar to what you see in the viewfinder.
