Flat Belly Diet: Strawberry-Banana Protein Smoothie

By Erin Palinski-Wade, Tara Gidus, Kristina LaRue

Drink a Strawberry-Banana Protein Smoothie for breakfast to kick-start your metabolism during your flat-belly diet. This smoothie recipe features whey protein powder, which provides balanced nutrition as opposed to a fruit-only smoothie. The protein powder also adds a creamy, fluffy texture to smoothies.

Remember: Using frozen fruit is key to smoothie success. When you use frozen fruit, you don’t need to add ice, which only dilutes the flavor of the drink. Frozen fruit locks in the natural sweetness, too, so you won’t need added or artificial sweeteners.
