The Misfit Ray fashion-forward fitness and sleep monitor, incorporating Shine technologies, is housed in a cylindrical aluminum body and works with all of the company’s other Misfit branded and custom accessories. The new Ray measures 3.8 cm in length and 1.2 cm in diameter. It can be worn either as a necklace or a bracelet. The new Misfit Ray fitness and sleep tracker works the same as previous Misfit Shine versions.

The Misfit Ray fitness and sleep tracker will also work with Misfit Link and leverages the Shine technologies. This application software controls many of the devices in close proximity to you, such as turning the lights on or off, taking a selfie, and changing your music.

The Mistfit Ray fitness and sleep tracker offers the following features:

  • A three-axis accelerometer that keeps track of your movements when you are awake or asleep

  • A multicolour LED “eye,” as well as a vibration motor, that nudges you when you’ve been inactive for too long

  • Alerts for emails, texts, and calls

  • An alarm that links to your mobile device

  • Water-resistant material

Users can opt to wear the Misfit Ray fitness and sleep tracker on the wrist during a workout. If you need something for formal dress, the device can be worn as a necklace using hidden spring bars while still tracking all health and fitness data.

The Misfit Ray fitness and sleep tracker works just like the other Misfit products, specifically Shine, and is less expensive than other fitness trackers on the market. Options start at just $99.

The Misfit Ray fitness and sleep tracker operates on the IOS, Android, and Windows platforms.

Once you have purchased the Misfit Ray fitness and sleep tracker, simply go to Misfit’s support page and link to Shine or other options for help with configuring your device.
