How to Apply a Text Style to a Note on Your iPad
Notes is a great app that comes preinstalled on your iPad. It has several different options for helping you manage all of the things you need to do on a busy schedule. You can take down groceries, make a to-do list or keep track of anything that comes to mind.
You can even apply text styles to your note. Text styles — including Title, Heading, Body, Bulleted List, Dashed List, and Numbered List — are available on the new shortcut toolbar above the onscreen keyboard. This is how.
- With a note open, tap and hold some text until the shortcut toolbar is displayed.
- Choose Select to select text or Select All to select all of it.
- Tap the Text Style tool above the keyboard (labeled Aa) to display a list of styles.
- Tap a style in the list.
- Tap Done to apply the style to the selected text.
