Using Pandora on Your HTC One (M8)

You can play music on your smartphone via the internet radio station Pandora. With your HTC One (M8), choose or customize a Pandora station and change genres. Downloading the Pandora app to your smartphone is easy and free.

Follow these steps:

  1. From your Home screen (shown in the following figure), tap the Play Store icon.

  2. From the Play Store (shown in the following figure), tap Apps.

  3. Tap the magnifying glass icon in the upper right.

    You can type in the word Pandora or tap the microphone and say it. You’ll see a screen like the one in the following figure.

  4. Tap Pandora Internet Radio.

    This brings up the screen shown in the following figure.

  5. Tap Install and accept permissions.

    After it’s on your smartphone, you see the screen shown in the following figure. Instead of Install, it says Open and Uninstall.

  6. Tap Open.

    You’ll see the sign-in screen shown in the following figure.

  7. Tap Register for Free.

    You see the registration screen shown in the following figure. This assumes that you haven’t already created an account (for, say, your PC).

  8. Enter your information and accept the terms of service.

  9. Tap Register.

    This opens the app as shown in the following figure.

  10. To select a genre, tap the Create a New Station text box.

    This opens the app as seen in the following figure.

  11. Tap Browse Genre Stations.

    This opens the app as seen in the following figure.
