Create a Submenu of Your iWeb Photo and Movie Pages in iLife ’11
In iWeb, you can set up a My Albums page to be a submenu for all content on your Photos and Movie pages. All you need to do is organize your Photos and Movie pages so that they’re within the My Albums page in the Sidebar. iLife ’11’s iWeb automatically updates the navigation menu bar so that you have a My Albums link rather than a clutter of multiple links to photo and video pages.
To organize your existing Photos and Movie pages so that they’re inside the My Albums page, follow these steps:
In iWeb, drag your Photos and Movie pages to the My Albums page in the Sidebar.
The My Albums page opens like a folder in the Sidebar so that you can place the Photos and Movie pages inside.Drag the Photos page inside the My Albums page (which acts like a folder).
In the Sidebar, drag pages up or down to rearrange the order.
The order in which they appear underneath the My Albums page determines the order in which the photo and video links appear on the My Albums page.
(Optional) Rename the My Albums page (My Stuff or Shows, for example), just as you rename any page.
The new name appears on the navigation menu bar.
After dragging your Photos and Movie pages inside the My Albums page, select the My Albums page. If you have multiple Photos and Movie pages in the My Albums page, all of them are represented on the My Albums page — the first photo appears for a photo album, and the poster frame appears for a video.
