Get your own Scratch account

The book uses Scratch, a free web-based programming platform. Click here to sign up for a free account.

    You’ll need a PC with Internet connection running Windows® 7 or higher or a Mac with Internet connection running Mac OS X 10.7 or higher to access your Scratch account
    Always ask for permission from a parent when you’re creating an account to an online service like Scratch. Ask permission from a teacher or other administrator if you wish to access the site on a school or other public or shared computer.

Share your games with the Scratch community

Part of the fun of designing with Scratch is sharing your games with the Scratch community. Read here about how you can post your game for others to play, remix, and add your game to their studio.
