Here are some go-to blogs for information about content marketing. This list is by no means an exhaustive one. Following — in alphabetical order — are the blogs you should consider reading.

Buffer

It's software; it's a blog. Buffer is a relative newcomer to the list. Joel Gascoigne, cofounder, launched the Buffer software tool in 2010. It quickly gained a large following because it solved a real problem by letting you schedule your social media posts on a timetable that made sense for you and your readers. Because the people at Buffer understand the social media space, they have great posts about all things marketing, including content marketing. Kevan Lee is at the editorial helm.

Content Marketing Institute

If you're interested in the content marketing space, you likely already know about Joe Pulizzi and the Content Marketing Institute. It's the gold standard for information about content marketing. It publishes magazines, consults with businesses, and probably has a guest post from all your favorite content marketers. Joe hosts the popular Content Marketing World event each year.

Convince & Convert

Jay Baer, who started Convince & Convert in 2008, bills himself as a "hype-free digital marketing strategist." He offers no-nonsense advice about all things marketing in the form of fun videos and posts.

Copyblogger

http://copyblogger.com

Blogger Brian Clark is a veteran in the content marketing space. He started Copyblogger in 2006! His site offers training, software, podcasts, and just about any form of information ready to help you. Writers Sonia Simone and Demian Farnworth are always great reads.

Oracle (Eloqua) content marketing blog

Eloqua, a marketing automation company now owned by Oracle, offers a wealth of information specifically devoted to content marketing. The site divides the information into three categories: measurement, planning, and production, and it includes webinars, e-books, and in-depth guides.

HubSpot marketing blog

HubSpot is an inbound marketing software company that has a variety of blogs devoted to online business building. Joe Chernov, VP of Content, is doing a wonderful job of keeping HubSpot on the cutting edge. Its marketing blog has guides and substantial posts about how to improve your content marketing.

Marketo content marketing guides

Marketo, a marketing automation software company, offers an incredible amount of high-quality guides, infographics, reports, e-books, and webinars on the topic of content marketing. This site is a one-stop shop for all things content marketing.

QuickSprout

Neil Patel is a remarkable writer with a great deal of business success. Although many of his posts in his QuickSprout blog exceed 4,000 words, they are very informative and flow really well. He writes about content marketing and online tactics that will help your business grow. Check him out.

Social Media Examiner

I'm a big fan of the Social Media Examiner blog. Founder Michael Stelzner and guest posters do an excellent job of sharing the most up-to-date information using an easy-to-read style. Michael also hosts Social Media Marketing World, an exciting yearly event.

Social Triggers

Derek Halpern is at the helm of this blog, Social Triggers, and his personality shines through. He's direct, straightforward, and always delivers great information. Definitely worth a look.

Seth Godin

No marketing blog list of any kind is complete without Seth Godin, even if he's in here out of alphabetical order. He's a visionary and a must read.
