Marking an Item as Sent in Your Etsy Account
After you ship a product from your Etsy shop, you have one more step to complete: marking the item as Sent in Your Account on Etsy. Etsy provides the tools you need to keep track of your business.
After you affix the label to your package, you're ready to send it. One option is to request a free carrier pickup from the USPS website; alternatively, you can hand it off to your regular carrier, take it to your local post office, or drop it in a collection box.
To track the package, click the Track button that appears where the Print Shipping Label button was on the My Account page in PayPal. (You and the buyer will also receive a tracking number via e-mail.)
Make it a point to buddy up to your mail carrier. That way, if you have any shipping-related questions, your carrier will be happy to answer them!
Here's what you do after you log in to your Etsy account:
Click the Your Account link along the top of any Etsy page.
The Your Account page opens.
Click the Sold Orders link.
Look for it under Orders, on the left side of the page.
Click the Open tab.
The Open Orders page appears.
Click the Shipped check box in the listing for the item you just shipped.
Etsy updates the listing to show that it has been shipped. The item also appears on the Completed Orders page, which you access by clicking the Completed tab.
