How to Use the Print Preview Command in PowerPoint 2007

The Print Preview feature lets you see how your PowerPoint slides will appear before you print them. To use the PowerPoint Print Preview feature, choose Office— Print — Print Preview. Or you can click the Preview button from the Print dialog box. Either way, a preview of the printed page appears.

From the Print Preview screen, you can zoom in to examine the preview more closely by clicking anywhere in the preview area. Or you can scroll through the pages by using the scroll bar, the Page Up and Page Down keys, or the Prev Page and Next Page buttons located on the Ribbon.

When you’re satisfied that the printout will be to your expectations, click the Print button to print the presentation. If you discover a mistake in the preview, click Close Print Preview to return to PowerPoint so you can correct the mistake before printing your slides.
