How to See a Facebook Friendship Page

After you’ve had a Facebook timeline for a while, you’ll likely find that you’ve littered your closest friends’ timeline Pages with posts, tagged photos, and invitations. Facebook offers a quick way to see all the communication you’ve shared with an individual friend over time with the Friendship Page feature.

A Friendship Page collects the timeline posts and replies you’ve shared with a friend, photos in which you’re both tagged, a listing of event invitations to which you’ve both responded, and the list of mutual friends you share. The Friendship Page even supplies a default timeline picture.

To see the Friendship Page you share with one of your Friends, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the name of one of your friends in the Search box in the blue bar at the top of your timeline page.

Typically, you just need to type the first few letters of your friend’s first name to generate a drop-down list of friends with similar names.

  2. Select your chosen friend’s name in the drop-down list.

Look at the top-right corner of their timeline and click the gear icon that appears in the info section of their timeline.

  3. Click See Friendship from the drop-down menu.

Facebook automatically generates the Friendship Page with the most recent posts shared between you and your friend at the top of the Page. Links to shared timeline posts, photos in which you’re both tagged, events you both RSVP’d as attending, comments shared on status updates, and shared Likes appear on the left side of the screen. Note how similar this is to your own timeline; it’s basically a timeline, but for two people instead of one.
